My stay at Casa Esmeralda By Katari was quite nice. The location was a bit removed from the historic center, which required some walking, but the neighborhood felt safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated the homemade breakfast and the availability of coca tea. However, I found the shower inconvenient, as it tended to spray water everywhere.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room, which was comfortable and clean. It was on the smaller side, but more than adequate for my needs. The huge bed was particularly enjoyable, and the daily cleaning service kept everything neat.

The staff were genuinely friendly and eager to assist. Veronica, in particular, was great at helping me organize tours and accommodating my breakfast requests. Her kindness really made my experience better.

While the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the main area, I found the stroll manageable and it allowed me to acclimatize better. It's in a residential area, which means it’s quieter but a bit lacking in nearby dining options.

Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay—varied and tasty, and I loved that they made adjustments for me, like preparing takeout breakfast on some mornings. The availability of coca tea was a nice touch, especially at high altitude.

While the hotel had minimal facilities (which I didn't mind), I appreciated the availability of solid WiFi and complimentary tea and coffee near the reception. I did wish for more amenities, but the great service made up for it.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Esmeralda by Katari. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home from the very beginning. The location is a bit off the main tourist strip, which provides a nice quiet atmosphere, but it's still just a 10-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which meant navigating stairs with my suitcase.

My room was clean and cozy, and while it was on the smaller side, it had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated that the room was tidied up every day.

The service was great, particularly from Gerson at the front desk. He went above and beyond, providing me with a warm welcome tea and assisting me with arranging my transportation when my tour plans changed.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, which I really enjoyed because it offered a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although a bit away from the main centre, it was an easy walk and close to local attractions.

Breakfast was included and quite satisfying, featuring a variety of options. The constant supply of cocoa tea was a great perk and very helpful for adjusting to the altitude.

The hotel provided great amenities, including Wi-Fi and a tea station for altitude sickness. They also offered assistance with tours and transportation, which proved invaluable during my stay.

My stay at Casa Esmeralda By Katari was a wonderful experience, perfectly blending comfort and charm (I especially loved the hot cocoa tea!). The decor was stylish and homely, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the location, while slightly away from the main square, was a peaceful escape. However, I did notice some breakfast service hiccups (a few items were out of stock), but overall, it did not overshadow my time there.

Situated in a quiet residential area, it was a short 15-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas and other local attractions. I felt safe walking around, which was a bonus.

Breakfast options were nice, though a little chaotic and some items ran out quickly (like the eggs). Made-to-order dishes were good, but consistency could improve.

The hotel offered the necessary amenities, including tours and ticket assistance, and I appreciated the simple packed lunch for early trips.

The service was great. Giara, the receptionist, was always warm and welcoming, helping with any request I had. She made my check-out process seamless, especially since I had an early start for Machu Picchu.

I had a good stay at Casa Esmeralda, with fantastic hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was definitely a highlight, featuring delicious homemade Belgian waffles. However, the location, while quiet, was about a 15-minute walk from the city center, and I faced some issues with the water supply on the last night. Overall, I would recommend it for a comfortable and charming stay! 😊
